They aerated a week before we arrived and even though we brought this up to the scheduler 2 months ago were told that wouldn’t happen but it did.
Hi Patrick I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and Mr. Krueger for working with me on the recent trip. We also appreciate you filling out the post-trip survey, as we share those comments with the golf courses and property management companies. As for the Aerification Schedule, the course was closed for aerification 6/7-6/10, which gave the turf ample time to recover from aerification. Your group leader and I spoke about it and were both confident recovery would be complete the day you played the course. While here, you may have noticed that the entire area was and still is in drought conditions, which might have inhibited growth a little. Asd for the bathroom situation in your unit, the property manager, your group leader, and I, even while being away on vacation, were always in constant contact. The options were limited, but we could have made the move to another couple of units, but your group leader said 3 bathrooms in one unit would be fine. When your group leader then decided the next day he wanted to switch units, the units were already rented, and Sea Trail was completely sold out. We are currently working with Mr Krueger on getting a quote out for next year so we can get that discount on lodging applied. Let’s get me those arrival and departure dates Thanks again for all your feedback, and I do hope you understand that sometimes things happen that are out of anyone’s control. Bag attendant was rude to a member of our group. Had to check in at the convention center and drive to maples. Waste of time and energy….
Course in nice shape. Greens were punched recently which is always annoying. Dont think that was disclosed

Fantastic course, however on the first tee there is a huge tree right in the path of the tee shot. We had to go to the whites to tee off.

The course was in good shape, the Pro Shop staff was friendly and professional. The blind holes and dog-leg holes made the course challenging

Course conditions were poor with tee complexes having little if any grass. Rain checks were extremely hard to acquire after rain forced us to give up the round.

Greens were in bad shape on the back nine.
The rye was killed off and the Bermuda hadn’t grown in yet. I should have gotten a discount for the burnt out and terrible condition of the course. When I pay $175.00 for 18 holes then the course should be in pristine condition. I shouldn’t have to roll my ball in every fairway just to find a patch of grass to hit off of. I was very disappointed and will not be playing there again.
I love Shaftesbury. It’s my go to course in Myrtle Beach.

It is a shame how they take care of this golf course. This is the second time I scheduled this course for our group. The first time was also a big disappointment.
